Pinterest Images
This board was created based on my first impressions of the script and production. It has been added to through design meetings, further readings, and the research process.

Religious Iconography
Everybody's ur-texts come from Buddhist and Christian canons.
Palimpsests
Merging of the times, lingering ghosts, layering on top, multidimensional. Where can we see echoes of the past merged with the present in our lives and in Everybody?

Works of Art Through Time
Medieval, Bosch, Bruegel, Vanitas, Salvador Dali, Dada.
What themes, feelings, or visual associations do these images bring up for you in conversation with Everybody?

Higher Sight
The ability to see beyond what is in front of one's eyes, to sense without seeing can present itself in times of need.

Do characters in Everybody tap into an omniscient perspective? How can vision be displaced or repurposed?

Portals
Significant, unexpected, or sometimes invisible portals surround us.
Exactly what death brings is beyond our understanding, but many have equated it to moving from one plane of existence to the next. What portals are you eager to move through? Which ones do you avoid?

Sound Design
Our sound designer, Anna-Lee Craig, created the playlist below in response to my request to supplement this sensory page with an aural landscape. You can find my dramaturgy playlist for this production in the 'Process' blog section.
